What to expect

Three things happen in your first hour.

01

A full assessment

The first twenty minutes read how you move, where your body is overworking and where it's gone quiet. No guesswork.

02

Your first protocol

You're guided through it in real time, adjusted to your body as you go. Most people feel it before the session ends.

03

A take-home practice

You leave with about five minutes of practice for what you worked on. Enough to keep it moving until you're back.

The session

Your first session, minute by minute.

Sixty minutes total, at our San Francisco office or over video. Same structure either way.

01 Before you arrive

Wear something you can move in

Stretchy pants or shorts, a t-shirt or athletic top. Pants without belt loops if you can help it. Nothing else to prepare. Every prop you'll need is here.

02 About 20 minutes

The assessment

The assessment reads how you stand, move, and hold yourself. The focus isn't the part that hurts. It's the pattern behind it, what's overworking, what's gone quiet. Two simple tools, a suspension squat and a bridge on a yoga block, usually reveal it in minutes.

03 About 30 minutes

Your first protocol

Using a yoga block, a foam roller, or the rings, you're guided through the protocol your body is asking for. You're moving, not lying still while someone works on you. It's adjusted in real time as your body responds.

04 Last 10 minutes

What you leave with

Most people notice a shift before the session ends: taller, lighter, less braced. You also leave with a short practice for what you worked on, about five minutes, done on your living room floor, to hold the change until your next session.

FAQ

The questions everyone asks.

How long is the first session, and what does it cost?

+

Sixty minutes, $225. That covers your full movement assessment and your first protocol, whether you come to our San Francisco office or meet over video.

Can my first session be virtual?

+

Yes. Your movement is read over video and you're guided through the same assessment and protocol. Some bodies, usually ones that need more direct hands-on cuing, do better in person. Your discovery call will tell you which fits you.

What should I wear?

+

Comfortable clothes you can move in easily. Stretchy pants or shorts and a t-shirt or athletic top. Pants without belt loops if you can help it. No special equipment needed, we provide everything.

Do you take insurance?

+

We don't bill insurance directly, but we can provide detailed receipts for your records. Payment is due before the session. Buy now, pay later options are available through Affirm.

What if I need to reschedule?

+

If you miss an appointment, the session is considered used. We understand emergencies happen and review rescheduling requests case by case. To reschedule, we ask for 24 hours notice.

What if the first session doesn't work for me?

+

If you don't experience noticeable relief by the end of your first session, Garrett keeps working with you at no additional charge until you do. This guarantee is rarely needed because the protocols are built to create an immediate, tangible change.

I'm not in good shape. Can I still do this?

+

Yes. You're not being tested on fitness. What's read is your movement pattern, not your conditioning. Stiff, out of shape, mid-injury, all of that is normal on day one.

Do I need to be flexible?

+

No. Flexibility isn't the goal, balance is. Some of the fastest changes happen in bodies that are tight or stiff, because what's out of balance is obvious.

The guarantee

Most people feel it in their first session.
