Effective August 9, 2026 · Version participant-agreement-v2026-08-09
Please read this agreement before booking or participating in an Amari Method session. “Amari Method” and “we” mean Amari Method, LLC.
1. Participation and physical guidance
Amari Method sessions may include guided movement, verbal instruction, breathing practices, positions, and use of props. With your permission, a practitioner may also offer non-invasive physical guidance. You may decline or withdraw consent to any physical guidance at any time, for any reason.
2. Not medical or emergency care
Amari Method is not emergency care, medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or a substitute for advice from a licensed health-care professional. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or guarantee outcomes for any condition. Seek appropriate medical or emergency care when needed.
3. Your responsibility
By accepting this agreement, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you will tell us about relevant injuries, conditions, limitations, or changes that could affect your participation. You agree to participate only within your comfort and ability, to stop or modify an activity if you feel sharp, new, or worsening pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or another concerning symptom, and to seek appropriate care when needed.
4. Assumption of risk
Movement and physical activity involve inherent risks. These may include, among other things, muscle soreness, strain, aggravation of a pre-existing condition, loss of balance, falls, dizziness, and injury. You understand these risks and voluntarily choose to participate.
5. Release of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, you release and agree not to hold liable Amari Method, LLC; its owners, members, officers, employees, contractors, practitioners, and agents; and Garrett Hewstan (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities arising from your participation in an Amari Method session, including claims based on the ordinary negligence of a Released Party.
This release does not apply to gross negligence, willful injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be released.
6. California law and severability
California law governs this agreement. If any part is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Electronic acceptance
When you select the required “I have read and agree” checkbox in the booking flow and continue to payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this agreement. Your electronic acceptance is intended to have the same effect as your signature.
