About this policy
Amari Method, LLC (“Amari,” “we,” or “us”) provides guided movement education, private sessions, and self-guided practice materials. This policy explains how we handle personal information through our website, bookings, purchases, client portal, Living Practice, and communications.
For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use our services:
- Contact and account details: name, email address, phone number, and information needed to manage your account and access.
- Bookings and purchases: appointments, attendance, purchases, payment status, transaction identifiers, and session balances.
- Participation information: quiz and intake answers, movement concerns, injuries or limitations you share, and notes about your sessions and practice. This may include sensitive health information.
- Communications and preferences: messages, support requests, communication choices, and consent records.
- Website activity: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, interactions, referring pages, and cookie identifiers, depending on the service and your privacy choices.
We receive information from you, from your use of our services, and from providers that help us manage bookings, payments, communications, and access.
How we use information
We use information to provide sessions and practice materials; manage bookings, payments, session balances, and account access; understand the participation information you share; respond to questions; and send service communications. We also use it to maintain security, keep appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations.
We may send follow-up and promotional communications consistent with your choices and applicable law. Website performance information and optional measurement help us understand use of the website and advertising performance, as explained below.
Calls, transcripts, and assisted review
Our communication systems support call and voicemail recordings, transcription, and AI-assisted review of transcripts and related messages. Where used, these features help our team understand communications and prepare follow-up. Providers may include Cloudflare for transcription and OpenRouter, which routes requests to AI model providers. Processing may include names, message content, and movement or health information you share.
Call recording is subject to applicable notice and consent requirements. We obtain separate permission before using private communications, your name, image, voice, or session recordings in marketing.
Payments
Payment providers, including Stripe, process payments directly. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. We receive purchase details such as payment status, amount, and transaction identifiers.
If you choose financing, such as Affirm, that provider manages the application and repayment agreement under its own terms. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy and Affirm’s Privacy Policy.
Service providers and disclosures
We use providers for hosting, data storage, bookings, customer records, payments, email and texts, digital content, analytics, and support. These include Cloudflare, GoHighLevel, Stripe, Google, Microsoft, and the AI providers described above. Meta receives information through the optional booking measurement described below. The information each receives depends on the service it provides. Some providers also use information under their own privacy policies, including the analytics and advertising uses explained below.
Team access is limited to people who need information for their work. We may disclose information to meet legal requirements or address fraud, security incidents, legal claims, or threats to safety.
Mobile information and SMS consent: We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent records are shared only with providers supporting our text-message services.
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Applicable privacy protections may differ by location.
Cookies and your choices
We use cookies and similar browser storage for sign-in, security, booking, remembering privacy choices, and optional analytics and advertising measurement. Hosting, security, fonts, and requested payment or video features can also connect to their providers without using cookies.
Our cookie banner lets you allow optional website analytics, continue without it, or review your preferences. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity stay off until you allow optional analytics. You can change this choice at any time through Cookie preferences. We remember your choice in your browser for up to 180 days on the website hostname where you made it, unless you clear it sooner or we ask you to choose again.
Cloudflare performance measurement operates separately, as described below. Advertising measurement has its own optional choice during eligible Assessment bookings. Accepting website analytics does not automatically accept advertising measurement.
Browser settings can also limit or delete cookies. Blocking necessary storage may affect features such as sign-in. Declining optional measurement does not affect booking, purchases, or paid access. We still keep the customer, booking, payment and service records needed to provide what you purchase, independently of optional analytics.
Cloudflare performance information
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page loading, responsiveness, and other website performance. This measurement does not use analytics cookies and can run without permission for Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity.
Cloudflare can receive page and referring information, browser and device information, and performance measurements such as loading times and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare also processes network information when providing hosting and security. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and Web Analytics information.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
With your permission, Google Analytics helps us understand visits to public pages, general quiz progress and steps toward booking, and supported confirmed bookings and purchases. These reports can include general page and event labels, browser and device information, IP addresses, cookie identifiers, and recognized campaign information. Learning pages use a general learning label rather than a condition-specific page URL or title in Google Analytics. Quiz measurement reports only general progress, such as starting or completing the quiz, without answers, results, or condition labels.
When a supported checkout provides a verified confirmation, Google Analytics can receive a general purchase or booking event, the purchase amount and currency, and a separate measurement identifier used to avoid duplicate reporting. This identifier is separate from your customer, booking, and payment-provider identifiers. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, account identifiers, card or payment-account details, private quiz answers or results, intake text, search text, or messages in these measurement events.
Microsoft Clarity provides behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay on selected public pages. Replay can show public page content and interactions. We use strict masking and stop replay before site search or private form entry. Replay does not run on the quiz, intake, booking or payment pages, client portal, or private account pages. General booking and purchase events do not require replay of the checkout or its form fields.
Microsoft’s handling of information, including any use for Microsoft Advertising purposes, is described in its Privacy Statement. For more information about Google, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.
Optional Meta booking measurement
Eligible Assessment bookings offer a separate, optional choice to share completed-booking information with Meta, which operates Facebook and Instagram. Declining does not affect booking, price, or service.
With your permission, we can report a completed appointment booking to Meta from your browser and our server after our system confirms payment and booking. Meta can receive browser and device information, IP address, advertising cookies, and an ad-click identifier when available. We keep a limited record of your choice and measurement information to manage this reporting and withdrawal. This feature does not send your name, email address, phone number, SMS consent records, payment details, or intake answers. We use it to understand advertising performance.
You can withdraw permission through the advertising measurement control on the booking confirmation page. Meta’s use and retention are described in its Privacy Policy. You can also manage advertising preferences through your Meta account.
Internal advertising reports
If you allow optional advertising measurement when booking, we associate recognized campaign, ad set and ad identifiers with your booking and later program purchases for internal reporting. Authorized staff use this to understand advertising performance.
We do not include quiz answers, intake details, health-related labels or Meta click identifiers in this internal report. This internal reporting does not send the report or program purchases to Meta. You can withdraw through the advertising measurement control on your booking confirmation or email [email protected]. Withdrawal stops use in reporting. You can make a privacy request about retained records.
This choice is separate from website analytics.
Changing your choice and browser privacy signals
Use Cookie preferences to change your optional analytics choice. When you withdraw permission, we stop Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, clear relevant first-party analytics cookies we can access, and refresh the page when needed. Information collected before the change takes effect or requests in progress may still finish transmitting. Withdrawal does not delete information a provider has received.
The optional analytics controls preserve necessary sign-in and booking storage and do not switch off Cloudflare performance measurement. Meta booking measurement has its own separate control, described above.
We withhold Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity when we detect a supported Global Privacy Control signal or a Do Not Track value of “1,” even if an earlier choice allowed them. The Meta booking measurement feature also checks these signals.
Email and text messages
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails through their unsubscribe link. To stop texts, reply STOP to the sending number. Reply HELP or contact us for assistance. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
Promotional consent is not required to purchase. Necessary emails, such as receipts and account notices, may still be sent. Stopping texts may also stop appointment reminders; contact us if you need another way to receive booking information.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain participation and transaction records, resolve disputes, protect security, and meet legal obligations. The period depends on the information and its purpose. Session or digital-access expiry does not determine how long business records are kept. Backup and provider copies follow their applicable retention arrangements.
Google Analytics is configured for 14-month retention of user and event data covered by its retention controls, with the user-data period reset by new activity. Aggregated reports and other records may follow different periods. Microsoft describes Clarity’s retention periods in its retention documentation.
Privacy requests
Email [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. We may ask for information to verify your identity and locate your records. We respond under applicable law and explain any information that needs to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may also have rights to obtain a copy of information, learn about disclosures, opt out of sale or sharing for advertising, limit certain uses of sensitive information, or appeal a decision. Contact us to exercise these rights. We do not discriminate against people for exercising protected privacy rights.
Security and children
We use safeguards, including access controls and secure connections, to protect information. No system is completely secure.
Our services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
Updates
We post updates here with an effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required. Independently operated services have their own privacy policies.
